When something noteworthy happens, just reach up and tap the button to permanently save the current 2/5/10 minute clip.
Always Recording
Sometimes, when I'm on a trail, I'm having too much fun to stop and properly film. In that case, I can eject the card at the end of the day to save everything. Having extra cards handy is a must. I like to keep them in this little compartment.
Parking Mode to monitor while you're away
This cable from Amazon powers Viofo Dash cameras while the car is turned off. It automatically turns off at an adjustable battery voltage to prevent a dead battery. I haven't used it, but I'm planning on adding it to my new Dash Camera.
My First Dash Camera
The Viofo A119 V3 is still going strong in my 2019 Forester.
My Second Dash Camera
This time around I went with the Viofo A119 Mini 2 because is has a new STARVIS 2 image sensor.
