Be prepared to stop fire damage

Info

There are many options for car fire extinguishers, but this is the one that I use. It is $27 on Amazon. That's pretty cheap for something that could prevent or minimize A LOT of damage. This one fits very securely in the driver's door. It uses Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda). It is effective against oil, gas, and electrical fires. However, the powder settle with time and vibration, so every time you change you engine oil, you should pull it out, turn it over, and loosen the powder. There's a great article on Motor Trend by a trained professional firefighter all about fire extinguishers for cars. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Using the link above is a great way to support this ad-free website. The cost is the same for you, but Amazon gives me a small cut of their profits as a referral reward. Use the link to stick it to Jeff Bezos, haha.
